A Morecambe XI went down 1-0 in a pre season fixture with Welsh Premier League side Airbus UK.
Stuart Drummond took charge of his first game whatched by Jim Bentley and Ken McKenna in the stands. Neil Wainwright was in the Morecambe team as he looking to keep match fit whilst looking for a new club.
As expected the Shrimps fielded a young side with only four players from the regular first team starting.
Airbus won the game 1-0 after a goal in the 37th minute from Iain Sheridan. Morecambe attempted a come back in the second half but were unable to get the equaliser.

Routledge, Culshaw, Short, Cowperthwaite, Parrish, Fleming (rep Salmon), Parkinson, McGee, Alessandra (rep Joyce), Breen, Wainwright.
