Tom Barkhuizen loan spell with Morecambe has come to an end so he’s returned to his parent club.
Jim Bentley brought the Blackpool striker to the Globe Arena last month on a one-month loan deal but with this spell expiring after the weekend win he has now returned to his Championship club.
At this stage it isn’t known if we wanted to extend this loan or not?
What we do know is that the striker, who featured in five games for us, is back with Blackpool with them announcing that he’s now available when they return to Championship action this weekend against Bolton Wanderers.
Barkhuizen’s final appearance for us was his appearance from the bench in the one-nil win over highflying Bury on Saturday afternoon, with more of his performances made in that manor.
