The Morecambe squad set of this morning (Sunday) to the land of tartan where they will spend time at a training camp before returning on Thursday night.
The squad will spend the tour doing some pre season training as well as taking part in team bonding activities which will include the squad going out for a meal together.
On Tuesday they will take on Raith Rovers in a friendly match, Jim’s first game since taking over the MFC reigns back in May.
All players except winger Kevin Ellison who injured himself doing his own pre season training, will take part in the Raith game as we biuld up to the big kick off against Barnet on 6th August.
The team will then return to Morecambe on Thursday before our first home game against a Blackburn Rovers XI on Saturday (3PM kick off).
