Morecambe have been handed a bye for the first round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
This means Morecambe will go stright into the hat for the second round draw which takes place live on Sky on 3rd September.
The other teams to be handed byes for the first round northern section are Chesterfield, Macclesfield Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Preston North End, Rochdale and Rotherham United.
