In this weeks ‘Where Are they Now` we take a look at former striker Matthew Blinkhorn.
Since leaving Morecambe Blinkhorn has plied his trade with Sligo Rovers where he featured for them in the Europa League before recently making the move to York City where he is due to make his debut in the FA Trophy this weekend .
Blinkhorn started his career at home town club Blackpool where he remained for a number of years making 44 appearances in the tangerines first team. He had loans spells with Luton Town and Bury before a loan at Morecambe where he impressed and was signed on a permanent contract.
He scored 10 goals in 2 years with Morecambe before being deemed surplus to requirements and was released.
