Nickname

Stadium name

The Coral Windows Stadium or Valley Parade as it`s better known was opened in 1886 and was first used as a rugby stadium until the team decided to switch to football in 1903. In 1985 disaster struck VP when a fire broke out during a game resulting in 56 deaths and many more injuries. With the redevelopments completed the stadium now looks very impressive for a League 2 club and has a seated captivity of just over 25,000.

Manager

Phil Parkinson was appointed manager in August 2011 and while it`s been a disappointing season for many at Bradford form has slightly picked up in recent weeks resulting in Parkinson being awarded the Manager Of The Month Award for December. This is PP`s forth job in management with his three previous appointments being at Colchester United, Hull City and Charlton athletic.
