Morecambe assistant manager Mark Lillis has spoken of his dissapiontment who the defeat at Hefeford and how the team intents to put things right.

Speaking to Morecambe Player Lillis said ‘We’re disappointed because we had gone four out of five wins and you think we’ve turned a corner but we haven’t and tonight we’ve given away sloppy goals, especially the second one.’

‘In this league it’s so tight. You can win against a team looking up towards the playoffs and lose to a team down below, so if you go four out of five games winning, you’re doing something right.’

Speaking ahead of the game with Macclesfield Lillis told how changes to the team could be made ‘We’ll start again on Thursday. We’ve got a long journey home but we’ll be back at it on the training ground as you do and hopefully, we’ll put some things right.’

‘The gaffer has told them he’ll make changes on Saturday and the lads who come in will have to take their chance.’
