Morecambe have handed pro deals to two players after they have impressed in the reserve team last season.
James Short was handed a short term deal a few month back to act as cover for the first team and the left back has now put pen to paper on a one-year-deal.
Centere back Chris Doyle has also also put pen to paper on a one-year-contract after coming through the youth system.
