Morecambe host the final first team game at the Globe for 3 weeks on Saturday when Martin Ling`s Torquay United make the long trip from Devon.

The Gulls are currently enjoying a memorable season sitting just outsider the play off spots in 8th place with 41 points. They go into Saturdays game after successive 2-1 wins over rivals Plymouth Argyle and Macclesfield Town respectively.

Morecambe come into the game after snatching a 2-2 draw after a 90th minute equaliser from Kevin Ellison earned the Shrimps an unlikely point at Bradford City last weekend.

Morecambe Team News:

Izak Reid is a couple of weeks away from a return to training while Kevin Ellison is a doubt having seen a specialist over his back injury this week.

Morecambe have had a couple of trilists playing for the reserve team in the last week so there may be a new face in the team for the game at Bristol Rovers.

Player to watch: Jason Price

Having recently signed a new contract recently Price will be looking to earn himself a place in the starting XI over the coming games.

Torquay United Team News:

Martin Ling has a fully fit squad to pick from for the game.

Player to watch: Rene Howe

The former Shrimp will be looking for a good game against his former side and he did score for Lincoln City the last time he came up against us, Morecambe ran out 3-1 winners on that occasion so a repeat of that result would suit most Morecambe fans just fine!

Match Facts & Stats

Morecambe drew 1-1 down in Devon in October with Kevin Ellison scoring a superb goal after Torquay opened the scoring in the second half.
