Former Morecambe loanee has joined Cardiff City after his former team Peterborough chose to release the former England Under 21 keeper.
Lewis had a very sucsessful laon spell with Morecambe from Norwich City in 2007 and was included in the starting XI for our first ever game in the Football League, a 0-0 home draw with Barnet.
After his loan came to an end the club tried to sign Lewis up full time but could not match the transfer bid made by Peterborough and he signed for the Posh.
In other tranfer news Chris Shuker has been handed a 2-year-contract at Port Vale after impressing during a short term contract which included a game against his former employers.
