Kettings Debut Delight

It has not taken long for Chris Kettings to settle in at Morecambe and he put in a fine display as well as keeping a clean sheet in his home debut against Macclesfield, something Barry Roche has struggled to do at home this season.

Ketting has joined the Shrimps until the end of the season on loan from Blackpool and he spoke to the MFC official website after Tuesdays game.

‘It was great to be involved and help the side to the win.’

‘The late save was definitely one of the best I have ever made. I just managed to get to the shot with the tip of my left hand and it did enough to turn the ball onto the post. Everyone was buzzing at the end and it was a great feeling.’

‘When I came here I was just expecting to be on the bench because Barry Roche hardly misses a game but things have turned out that I have had a chance and I’ve loved it.’

‘I must admit I was a bit nervous when the gaffer said I was playing at Bristol Rovers but as soon as the game kicked off I was OK and the adrenalin carried me through it.’

Lets hope he continues that form if he plays on Saturday.
