Morecambe have confirmed they will play Everton in a pre season friendly on July 14th at the Globe Arena for Jim Bentley’s testimonial game.
Bentley is a lifelong Everton fan and spoke of his delight in playing against his boyhood team.
Bentley joined Morecambe in 2002 and was appointed manager last summer after nine years as a player at the club.
The game will kick off Morecambe’s pre season campign and will kick off at 2PM with full ticket details to be confirmed.
