Oxford 1-1 Morecambe
29th March 2013
15:00
Kassam Stadium

Morecambe left it late, very late, but managed to come away from Oxford with a Good Friday point.

Oxford had the more chances of the first half, however it was arguably Morecambe that went closest of all as they had an effort cleared off the line.

Chances came and went for Oxford but on the hour Alfie Potter (60) didn’t make a mistake as he fired home to give the hosts the advantage.

Morecambe looked beaten, and would have been had it not been for substitute Jack Redshaw (90+4). He rescued them in injury-time when he headed home at the far post to see the game end in a 1-1 draw.
