Morecambe have been drawn away to Blackpool in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
It will be the first time the two clubs have come up against each other in a competetive first team fixture.
The Seasiders narrowly missed out on an instant return to the Premier League last season going down to West Ham United in the play off final.
The game is set to take place on Tuesday 14th August at 7.45PM but this is yet to be officialy confirmed.
Ticket details will be announced by the club shortly.
