Morecambe manager Jim Bentley has spoke about how well the Scottish training camp is going and is looking forward to the game against Raith Rovers.

The squad are currenly based in Perth and speaking from their base Jim spoke to the clubs official website about the trip so far and looks ahead to the first pre season fixture.

Jim did confirm a couple of injuries picked up but it’s not belived to be anything serious and most of the squad will be available for selection.

Jim Said ‘It’s been great. The lads have worked really hard and are getting to socialise with each other off he field and everyone seems to be enjoying it. It is good for the new players and the young lads to settle into the squad and everyone is now looking forward to the game against Raith now.”

We have a couple of little niggles and a couple of lads won’t be playing tomorrow night but there is no point pushing someone if they are not ready.’

Vital Morecambe would like to wish Jim and the team all the best for the 2011/12 season.
