You wouldn’t have been left short changed once again would you if you were in attendance of Morecambe’s latest pre-season friendly.

The Shrimps’ next friendly, like the Dundee game prior, was played at the Globe Arena with Oldham Athletic the opponents on Tuesday night in a game that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Oldham went into the half time break one-nil up with Adam Lockwood scoring.

The goals flowed as the game approached its end with our captain Mark Hughes heading us level before Jonson Clarke-Harris again put Oldham ahead but we weren’t to be beaten as trialist Paul Mullin earned us a draw three-minutes from time.

Six-goals were seen against Dundee, another four on Tuesday wasn’t bad was it!

Morecambe: Arestidou; McGowan [Wright 46], Parrish [Doyle 71], Edwards [Hughes 61], Goodall [Wilson 71]; Drummond [Fleming 46], Kenyon [Williams 61], McCready [Devitt 61]; Amond [Redshaw 61], Sampson [Mullin 61], Ellison (c) [Marshall 71].
