Sammy McIIroy has revealed that he already has targets in mind as he begins planning for next seasons League Two campaign with Morecambe, which would be only their second in the Football League, with them currently 10th this season. He told BBC Radio Lancashire: ‘I’ve got people in my mind who I want to bring to the football club.
‘We’ve got to even the books but I’ll see what I can do.
‘It’s unbelievable you finish in a few weeks’ time and then all of a sudden you’re in early July.
‘There’s no rest, but that’s football these days. The more successful you are the more you play, and that’s just the way it is.’
Morecambe have had a successful first season in League Two so McIIroy will be looking to build on, and improve on it but can he do it?
