Morecambe’s Player of the Year was revealed following the final game on the season on Saturday.

At the annual end of season awards ceremony Andy Fleming was the big winner as he claimed the Players’ Player of the Year award.

This wasn’t the only award that he won, he also picked up the F-Com and Visitor awards.

Among the others winners were Padraig Amond taking the Golden Boot, the Community Sports Award was jointly won by Kevin Ellison and Tony Diagne the 15-years of service from Stewart Drummond, who made his 600th appearance during the season, was marked with a special trophy and Ryan Williams’ goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers won the Goal of the Season.

Well played to them all, in particular Fleming, with this a decision that I don’t think too many Shrimps’ fans would disagree with?
