Morecambe need to do whatever they can to ensure that league two survival takes place at the end of the season.

In order to boost the league two survival hopes the Shrimps have agreed a deal to extend the loan spell of Ryan Edwards until the end of the campaign.

Edwards had previously been on loan with promotion chasing Chesterfield but has been on loan with the Shrimps for the past month with parent club Blackburn Rovers agreeing to a request to keep him for the final two games of the season.

During his initial loan spell the 20-year-old managed to play seven times for the club with them hoping that with his help they’ll stay in the football league, do you think they will?
