There weren’t too many positive from Morecambe’s second successive three-nil defeat against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Saturday.

The return from injury of Jamie Devitt was one though.

Devitt has been sidelined recently by a hamstring injury but having made a quicker than anticipated return from injury he was fit enough to be named on the bench for the game on Saturday, coming on for the final 15-minutes in a game that was already gone.

His comeback will continue with an outing for the reserves today when Stewart Drummond takes his side to Wigan Athletic.

Andreas Arestidou should also be involved as the ‘keeper moves closer to coming back from his own injury.
