Manager Jim Bentley has given an injury update ahead of this weekend’s trip to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle.

Speaking to the Official Site in his pre game press conference, Bentley spoke about the fitness levels of Shaun Miller, Andy Fleming and Laurence Wilson.

All three missed the Leyton Orient game last week with knocks, but the gaffer was hopeful all three would be back in contention for this weekend’s game.

‘Laurence Wilson is back in training and we hope to see Shaun Miller and Andy Fleming stepping things up as the week goes on too which will be a big boost for us. We missed Shaun on Saturday because he has been flying. He’s the man in form in League 2 and when a striker is on the run he is on he is bound to be a loss. He’s been brilliant in October but he had a slight knock during the week and said he was feeling a bit tight before the game. We could have risked it but I don’t want to put him in a position where he might be out of action for longer than necessary. With Jack Ryan returning to Preston we only had six subs as it was and with a squad the size of ours we have to look after our players.’

With good away form so far this year, Bentley is obviously hoping to see that continue as we make the trip away but he knows it’s going to be a tough match against the table toppers and the side tipped for automatic promotion.

‘We have only lost once away this season so far and that was on the opening day of the season. We know we are in for a tough afternoon but we have produced some great performances on our travels this season and I can”t see any reason why we can’t cause them problems on Saturday.’
